We have many providers that can provide transportation to medical appointments, job interviews, training sites, dialysis and cancer treatment centers. There is also program that can help you get to work temporarily!

New vehicles are being delivered to Jackson-Vinton Community Action, Vinton County Senior Citizens Inc. and the Jackson County Senior Citizen agency to offer more transportation services! Program Background
The Ohio Department of Transportation provides grant funds through the Ohio Coordination Program to assist in the coordination of transportation services among transportation providers. The primary goal of the program is to enhance and expand transportation through coordination in Ohio counties with no public transportation system. The Vinton County Commissioners designated the Jackson-Vinton Community Action Organization to be the lead agency for the Ohio Coordination Program that serves both Jackson and Vinton Counties This program is administered through the ODOT Office of Transit.
